Rose Muenker has been writing about travel, lifestyle and business topics for more than 20 years. Her passion is experiencing the world’s cultures and natural landscapes, both at home and abroad. Travel writing has taken her from the scenic byways of Colorado to the camel trails of Morocco, the wetland waterways of Brazil and beyond.
Her travel features have appeared in scores of major newspapers and magazines. She and her photographer-husband, David Muenker, are the authors of the award-winning ”Colorado Front Range History Explorer” and ”Colorado Front Range Scenic and Historic Byways.” Her award-winning, monthly travel column, ”Colorado Scenic Byways,” ran in the Denver Post for two years.
Rose brings her expertise as an author, columnist, feature writer and university instructor to ”The 1:1 Writing Program With Rose.” The 5-week, one-on-one program provides writers with coaching and instruction that is customized to help them achieve their current writing goals. She serves both aspiring and professional writers. She also conducts group teleclasses on the writing life, writing website content, and travel writing.
Rose currently resides on the road in her 32-foot Class A recreational vehicle. She chronicles her adventures in her blog ”On the Road With David and Rose” www.davidandrose.com and she features highlights of her travels in her bi-monthly column in ”Out of Denver” magazine. Her legal residence is Colorado, where she lived in a brick-and-mortar home for almost 28 years.
She is also a member of the Society of American Travel Writers and the Colorado Authors’ League.
