Writing is the foundation of Bonnie McCunes real jobs, which have built upon this skill to encompass general marketing and public relations staff positions for nonprofit and government agencies.
Shes applied her abilities to corporate and institutional communications, publications, public opinion campaigns, development of private-public partnerships, fund-raising, events, and training for the Denver Department of Public Works, the Auraria Higher Education Center, the Denver Public Library, the Rocky Mountain Womens Institute and the Colorado State Library.
In addition, she pursues free-lance writing and consulting as time permits, with publications in local, regional and trade publications including Colorado Parent, Westword, Grit, EnCompass, American Libraries, and numerous others. She is interested in libraries, literacy, and the arts and is a member of groups active in those areas.
